Rules and Regulations

Participating cosplayers must abide by the following rules and regulations:

1. The competition is open to all Filipino Citizens.
2. There is no age limit for participants. However, winners below the age of 21 need to provide signed parental consent forms stating that they are allowed to go to Singapore.
3. All entries must be from the genre of Japanese anime, manga and/or games.
4. All competition entries are solo. Only one cosplayer is allowed per entry.
5. Participants with bulky costumes are allowed to have assistants backstage. They, however, may not have human props on stage during the performance.
6. All entries must be accompanied by a performance, with a minimum of 3 minutes, and a maximum of 5 minutes per performance.
7. No pyrotechnics or littering of the stage is allowed during performance.
8. No animals will be allowed on stage.
9. The top three winners of the Asia Cosplay Meet Philippines will be sent to participate in the Asia Cosplay Meet Championship in Singapore during Cosfest on July 4, 2010. All travel and accommodation expenses will be paid for.
10. In line with the above ruling, all cosplayers must have a passport valid for travel on July 2010 on hand at least one week before the competition. (Participants without passports on hand on the day of the event may be disqualified).
